The core feature is multi-track recording: instead of one merged file, Waveroom captures a separate audio and video track for each participant, up to 2K video resolution and uncompressed 48kHz WAV audio, downloadable right after the session. Sessions can include up to five participants (one host and four guests), joining by sharing a link with no software install required.
Beyond podcasting, Waveroom markets itself for remote teaching, recording lectures and lessons, collecting video testimonials for marketing, and corporate communications such as team updates and quick video tutorials in place of long written explanations.
