Description
Palmier Pro is a full multi-track video editor built from the ground up to be operated by AI. Connected over MCP, an agent such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor can open a project, build a timeline, make edits, and export the finished video, so the whole production pipeline can run end to end.

A key workflow is teaching an agent to edit once and saving that process as a Skill, then running it on the next video, which works well for recurring clips, ads, and formats where the rules stay mostly the same. Media generation lives directly on the timeline, so users can create images, video, voiceovers, music, sound effects, dubs, and upscales without moving files between separate tools.
Palmier Pro is also a real NLE editor, so users can trim clips, add text, set keyframes, and color grade by hand, and mix imported footage with AI-generated clips. When needed, projects can be exported as XML to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. The editor and MCP connection are free, with paid Pro and Max plans adding generation credits, cloud transcription, and built-in chat. The company notes Palmier is open source, and it requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later.
