Description
Tellers is an AI video editing agent built around a simple loop: describe the video you want, and the agent searches your footage, assembles a first cut, and keeps refining it as you give more instructions. The product runs in the browser and pairs a prompt-driven agent with a full multi-track timeline editor, so every AI change stays visible and editable rather than happening behind the scenes.

The workflow has three parts. Search lets you find a moment in raw footage by describing it, instead of scrubbing through hours of clips. Assemble turns a brief into a first cut on the timeline, which you can then refine with more prompts and finish by hand with music, titles and captions. Repeat lets you reuse an edit that already works, adapting an approved video for a new format, market or channel without starting over.
Tellers doesn't require your own footage to start. You can upload video, pull from an integrated Pexels stock library, or generate new material with a range of connected AI models, all inside one subscription rather than separate logins for each tool. Video generation runs through models including Lightricks LTX, Google Veo, OpenAI Sora, Runway, Alibaba Wan and Seedance; ElevenLabs handles voice and dubbing; OpenAI's Whisper produces transcripts and captions; GPT Image generates and edits images; and Mirelo adds music and sound effects. A set of OpenAI-based editing agents plans the edit and calls the right tool for each step, while Tellers' own in-house tools handle cut and beat detection and live timeline rendering.
Finished projects can be rendered in the cloud as an MP4 at 1080p or 4K in any cut aspect ratio, or exported as an editable XML timeline for Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Avid, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut, so professional editors can take over without losing the structure. Tellers can also publish directly to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook, automatically fitting the aspect ratio and caption to each destination. The product also exposes an API and MCP integration and documentation for teams that want to build editing into their own tools.
Tellers, based in Paris, targets agencies and brand teams producing ad campaigns and variations, production and post-production teams turning large volumes of raw footage into rough cuts, and individual creators finishing personal projects such as wedding or travel films. Subscriptions start from $16 a month and include the editor, the editing agent, cloud rendering, 200GB of storage and one-click publishing to social platforms; full pricing details are listed on the site.
