The core functionality revolves around a user-friendly formula, `=ai_pdf(prompt, PDF_ID)`, which allows you to ask any question to your uploaded PDFs. By generating unique PDF IDs for each uploaded document via capgo.ai/doc-at-scale, users can then leverage this formula to query one or many PDFs simultaneously. This is particularly beneficial for bulk data extraction and analysis tasks where manual review would be time-consuming and inefficient.
Key capabilities include the ability to chat with PDFs in bulk, meaning a single prompt can be applied across numerous documents. The add-on also offers the option to display reference page numbers in the output by appending '1' to the formula, providing crucial context for the extracted information. This feature enhances the reliability and traceability of the data retrieved.
The target audience for PDF AI Sheet includes researchers, analysts, students, legal professionals, and anyone who frequently works with PDF documents and needs to extract specific information efficiently. The add-on is powered by CapGo.AI, ensuring a robust and reliable solution for document processing needs.
PDF AI Sheet offers a significant value proposition by saving users considerable time and effort. Instead of manually opening and searching through individual PDFs, users can now perform complex queries and extract data in bulk directly within Google Sheets. This streamlined workflow boosts productivity and allows for quicker insights from document repositories.
