Toki acts as an AI executive assistant, coordinating meetings by checking availability, working around user preferences, and sending invites once a time is confirmed. Users can personalize Toki by choosing its name, personality, and voice tone. Over time, Toki learns user preferences, making interactions more personal and reducing the effort needed to coordinate meetings.
The app is free to use with in-app purchases available for advanced features. The free plan includes 14 events per week, providing ample space for most users. Toki also supports natural text input within the app for adding events, maintaining a familiar texting experience.
Toki has received positive feedback for its simplicity and budget-friendly nature. It does not export events to Google or Apple calendars, which some users find limiting. However, its ability to automatically add events from screenshots and use voice-to-text for reminders is highly appreciated.
The app's privacy practices include tracking data across apps and websites owned by other companies, with data linked to user identity such as contact info and usage data. Toki is compatible with iOS 16.4 or later and supports multiple languages, making it accessible to a wide audience.
