A transparent per-criterion AI scoring system evaluates answers, and a CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) assessment provides spoken language proficiency levels (A1–C2) in English, Spanish, French, German, and Brazilian Portuguese. This comprehensive evaluation helps create ranked candidate shortlists, complete with AI summaries, allowing hiring managers to quickly identify top talent.

The platform is designed for ease of use for both candidates and hiring teams. Candidates can record their interviews using any modern smartphone or laptop with a camera and microphone, without needing to install an app. VoxScreen supports major browsers like Safari and Chrome on various devices. For hiring teams, it offers custom branding options, allowing them to display their logo and brand colors on interview pages and candidate emails, even on the free plan. Unlimited retakes are available for candidates, providing flexibility if technical issues arise or more time is needed.

VoxScreen emphasizes fairness and transparency in its process. Every candidate receives the same questions, time limits, and AI scoring rubric. Hiring teams can review transcripts and rubric scores, not just a black-box rating. The platform also includes robust email management, allowing users to customize six different candidate email templates—invitation, reminder, received, reopened, next steps, and rejection—on all plans. These emails can include variables and personal notes, with rejection emails featuring a 3-hour delay to allow for changes of decision.

Scalability and team collaboration are key features, with unlimited active jobs and unlimited team members included across all plans, including the free tier.
