Description
Tenux is a mobile-first browser IDE designed to make coding from your phone a seamless experience. By tunneling your computer to your phone, Tenux integrates an AI agent that allows you to direct tasks while it executes them. This setup includes both a terminal and a browser, enabling full access to your shell directly from your phone. You can run various CLI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Aider, and utilize tools like git, npm, docker, and ssh.
The Tenux Chat feature acts as an agentic chat that operates your machine, typing in your terminal and controlling the browser through the Tenux MCP. Users can bring their own key or use Tenux credits for this feature. The Tenux browser allows you to view your localhost live on your phone, providing a real-time rendering experience similar to what your users will see.
Security and privacy are prioritized, with your code, files, and chat history remaining on your machine. The database only stores essential information such as login details, billing, routing connections, and any AI provider keys you register, which are encrypted and used solely for running your chat.
Tenux offers a free tier where your phone communicates directly with your computer over your network, without traffic reaching Tenux servers. The paid plan allows access to your machine from anywhere, with traffic encrypted and forwarded through Tenux's relay. Tenux Chat on credits also passes through Tenux for billing purposes, but using your own key bypasses this.
Tenux is ideal for developers who need to code on the go, offering flexibility and control over their development environment.
