The AI automatically identifies the subject and background, handling complex backgrounds and fine details such as individual hair strands. Core capabilities include free online AI cutouts for people, products, animals, and patterns, batch cutout processing for many images at once, one-click background replacement to solid colors or transparency, print-pattern extraction for POD and apparel work, lossless image upscaling and enhancement, and basic watermark removal. The service is free with no registration or login required.
Beyond the browser tool, KouKouTu offers a downloadable desktop client that supports very large batch jobs (100,000+ images), large images up to 10,000px, high-quality output, offline models for unlimited free cutouts, edge enhancement, and automatic print cropping. A paid API is also available for developers, supporting formats such as JPEG, JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 10000x10000 and 40 MB.
