How to use Tape?
Open Recorder: Navigate to use-tape.com/record in a desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari).
Configure Audio/Camera: Select your microphone input and optionally enable the camera for a face bubble.
Start Recording: Click 'Start Recording', choose the screen, window, or tab to share, and confirm.
Stop Recording: Click 'Stop Recording' when finished; the preview page will open.
Trim Recording: On the preview page, drag the trim handles to cut the start and end of the video.
Generate AI Summary: In the AI Summary & Transcript section, start a run to get a title, summary, key points, and transcript.
Upload and Share: Upload the tape to get a shareable link, with AI text included on the share page.
Protect Share Link (Pro): For Pro accounts, set a password in the share settings to restrict access.
