Roomagine is an AI interior design app, rebranded from RoomGenius; the site's own footer reads "Formerly RoomGenius," and room-genius.com now redirects to roomagine.ai. It is made by Bitfuse UG, based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The core flow starts with a photo: a person photographs a room (or starts from an empty room, or a hand-drawn sketch), picks one of 24 built-in styles such as Scandinavian, Art Deco or Japanese Zen, or describes a look in a free-text prompt, and gets back a photorealistic redesign in about 10 seconds. Up to four style versions can render in parallel for no extra wait. Throughout, the room's real architecture, walls, windows and doors, stays fixed while furniture and finishes change around it. Eight room-type profiles (living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, office, kids' room, and outdoor/patio) apply their own rules, for example keeping plumbing fixtures in place in a bathroom or keeping kitchen units and appliances put while only their finishes change.
Two follow-up tools sit on top of a finished design. "What we'd change" returns a short, specific written critique of the room, naming which wall, piece or light it would change and why, for one credit. "Modify" re-renders the same room with a single named change (for example, "change the sofa to blue, add plants to the shelf") for one credit, keeping the room, angle and style intact. "Shop the look" detects the furniture that appears in a finished render and searches for real, similar products to buy; this matching step is free and available in 9 countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy and India. Saved products keep the price recorded at the time they were saved rather than updating silently.
Designs are organized into named, dated rooms with a full version history, and a one-tap share sheet builds a before/after collage of a chosen design. Roomagine's pricing model is credit-based rather than subscription-based: credit packs of 10, 30, 100 and 200 are priced by the App Store and Google Play in local currency, credits never expire, the first design is free, and furniture matching never costs a credit.
The app runs on iOS 13+ and Android 8+, with no full web version, though a single design can be tried in a browser without creating an account. It is fully translated into English, German, Spanish and French. On the site's own FAQ, Roomagine explicitly does not work from top-down floor plans, only from photos, empty rooms or sketches taken at eye level.
Named audiences on the site include homeowners testing a decision before making it, renters who can change furniture but not fixtures, estate agents and stagers furnishing an empty listing for photos, and designers or contractors using a render to brief a first concept to a client.
