Description
Parente is a remote mental health clinic for children ages 3 to 13 and their families, currently serving Latin America. It pairs clinical treatment with an AI assistant that supports parents between sessions, so that what's learned in a consultation carries into daily life at home.

The clinical team is led by Dr. Andrea Abadi, a child psychiatrist who directs the Child and Adolescent Department at INECO and teaches at Universidad Favaloro, alongside Dr. Eduardo Bunge, a clinical psychologist and professor at Palo Alto University, and Dr. Antonio Hardan, a child psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry at Stanford University.
Parente works with families dealing with ADHD, oppositional defiant behavior, anxiety, autism and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Support starts with online workshops for parents and caregivers: small groups running 4 to 8 weeks, led by a specialist, covering concrete, evidence-based strategies for home. Between sessions, parents use the Parente app for materials and activities, along with Pat, an AI assistant available around the clock. Families who need more can add psychiatric evaluation and medication management with Dr. Abadi's team, currently available in Argentina.
Workshops and psychological support are priced at USD 35 a month. Psychiatric evaluation and support, including a personalized plan for the child, starts at USD 75 a month.
Parente reports that 96% of families saw an improved relationship with their child, 95% saw improvement in the issues that concerned them most, and 90.1% would recommend Parente to other families, based on its own program results; it has worked with more than 600 families to date. Alongside the clinical program, Parente publishes its own articles and offers a downloadable app, and families can reach the team directly by email or Instagram with questions before enrolling.
It's built for parents and caregivers of young children rather than for the children directly. A diagnosis isn't required to start, and the program is designed to complement, not necessarily replace, a child's individual therapy.
