The service operates on a credit system, where each panel take costs one credit. An average issue requires about 20 credits, with premium styles costing slightly more. New users receive 35 free credits upon signing up, and subscription plans start at $19 per month. Credits from purchased packs never expire, while those from plans have a 60-day expiration period.
Panel & Ink ensures that users retain full ownership of their comics, allowing them to publish and sell their creations freely. The platform also provides flexibility in sharing, with options to download issues as narrated videos or as individual panels. AI plays a crucial role in the process, with language models writing scripts and image models drawing panels, all under the user's direction.
