Description
HookWatch is a webhook ingestion, monitoring, and recovery platform that gives engineering teams one place to inspect every webhook delivery, read the exact request and response, and understand why a delivery failed. It sits in front of your webhooks, receiving each one, recording it with status, provider, response code, and attempt count, and forwarding it to your app, so no delivery is ever silently dropped.

The core recovery flow takes a failed delivery from captured to delivered: HookWatch records the failure the moment it happens, categorizes it by reason, shows the full request headers and body alongside your endpoint's response and attempt history, and lets you replay the exact captured payload once your handler is fixed, with no need to recreate the event by hand. Repeated failures are grouped into incidents so a flaky endpoint appears as one problem instead of dozens of identical rows.
Beyond capture and replay, HookWatch handles per-endpoint retry policies, rate-limit visibility, event-type filters, signing, and IP allow-lists, and routes incidents to Slack or a webhook before users notice. It works with any provider that sends HTTP webhooks, including Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Telegram, and Paddle. Every API route is also an MCP tool (around 48 of them), so an AI assistant like Claude, Cursor, or Codex can list failed deliveries, inspect one, and replay it with a workspace key. A CLI adds a terminal dashboard and a local tunnel for development.
Security is built in with workspace isolation, write-only masked secrets, encryption at rest for notification secrets, and SSRF-guarded outbound forwarding. HookWatch is in early beta and free to start, with usage-based and monthly paid tiers available.

How to use HookWatch?
Point your webhooks at HookWatch: Set the provider's webhook URL to your HookWatch endpoint, which records and forwards each delivery to your app.
Inspect failures: When a delivery fails, open it to read the exact request, response, and attempt history and see the categorized failure reason.
Fix your handler: Use the captured details to find and fix the bug in your endpoint.
Replay safely: Re-send the exact captured payload once the handler is fixed, and route incidents to Slack or a webhook to hear about them first.
