Gentype

Description

Gentype is a collection of AI-generated themed alphabets curated by a designer. Each theme is a full set of bold, textured 3D letters and glyphs intended to replace ordinary typography in branding, web design, art, print, and game projects. The assets are generated with AI and then curated by hand, so users get creative letterforms without doing the AI curation themselves.

Every letter is delivered at 5K resolution as separate PNGs, along with fully assembled Figma and PSD files, neatly organized and compatible with any design software. Themes are added as community donations accumulate, and users can vote on which new themes get created.

Gentype is now free for all: every theme created for the site can be downloaded at no cost. The project is supported by donations, which help fund new themes and keep the site running, and there is an option to pay once for a year's worth of updates.

The project is made by designer Przemek Kowal, who invites users to share what they build with the letters.
