Description
FormEmailAPI is an API that receives contact-form submissions and delivers them by email, without requiring a server or backend code. A form's action attribute points at a FormEmailAPI endpoint, and submissions land in the owner's inbox from there.

Setup happens in a dashboard: create a form and get a unique endpoint URL, configure where submissions go, the subject line, spam filtering, autoresponder, and forwarding, then paste the endpoint into an existing form built in plain HTML, React, Next.js, Vue, or another framework. Every submission is also stored in the dashboard, searchable and exportable, so the inbox is not the only copy.
Spam is filtered four ways: a honeypot field, Turnstile, hCaptcha, or reCAPTCHA, keyword rules, and domain locking, so a copy of a form on someone else's site stops working. Blocked spam does not count toward a plan's quota. On top of the rule-based checks, an LLM reviews submissions for intent, catching spam that keyword rules alone would miss. Other features include file uploads backed by Amazon S3, an autoresponder that replies to the sender automatically with their own submitted details, a custom redirect to the site's own thank-you page after submission, and webhook forwarding as JSON or directly into Slack, Discord, and Telegram; a read-only Submissions API lets the data be pulled into other tools or dashboards.
The Free plan covers 250 submissions a month with unlimited forms and domains, honeypot and CAPTCHA spam filtering, and 30 days of submission history. Pro costs $15 a month, or $180 billed yearly, for 10,000 submissions a month, file uploads up to 10MB, a custom sending domain, and a year of submission history. Business costs $40 a month, or $480 billed yearly, for 20,000 submissions a month, uploads up to 25MB, and unlimited submission history.
FormEmailAPI is aimed at developers and small teams who want a working contact form, job-application form, or similar HTML form without maintaining a backend, while keeping their own markup and styling instead of embedding a third-party widget.
