Description
Astropods is a governance platform for companies running multiple AI agents. Rather than leaving every team to build and manage its own agents and Slack bots, it puts every agent a company runs, whether built internally or brought in from outside, into one operating system with shared access control, budgets and memory.

Anything deployed on Astropods is a governed agent: the platform sits between a company's code and production, providing the spec, the guardrails and a record of every run. At deploy time, a team decides what an agent can reach, what actions need a human to sign off, how much it is allowed to spend, and where its data stays. Access follows the roles and teams a company already has, so permissions do not need to be wired up agent by agent, and each agent gets only the scopes its specific task needs.
Astropods gives a single view across all of a company's agents. Conversations and requests handled by agents are grouped into patterns, such as refund requests, pricing questions or contract renewals, so a team can see what is actually being asked and how work is split between agents and people. Automatic rules can watch for conditions like an agent spending over a set amount, a deployment failing, or an agent going idle, and respond by pausing the agent or notifying its owner. Every run leaves a trace showing who asked, what the agent did, each step it took, and what it cost, and new agent releases are measured against the version already live before they reach users, with a release automatically held or rolled back if quality drops.
Companies can also bring in external agents and coding tools, including Claude Code and Codex, so their usage and spend are tracked in Astropods alongside everything else. Data stays in the customer's own cloud under their own contracts; prompts, traces and evals are never used to train external models and can be exported or deleted on request. Astropods runs on any major model provider or framework and can be deployed managed, inside a company's own VPC, or fully isolated for regulated work.
Pricing starts with a free Hobby tier for solo builders or small teams, which includes $10 of free credit with no card required, usage-based pricing beyond that, team invitations, per-agent spend tracking, and private knowledge stores. An Enterprise plan, priced individually, adds dedicated onboarding help, fleets of agents, data residency controls, single sign-on, audit logs and a dedicated support SLA.

Astropods's Core Features
Single operating system for every AI agent a company runs, in-house or external
Deploy-time controls over what each agent can access, spend and require human sign-off for
Access permissions follow existing team and role structures rather than per-agent setup
Automatic rules that pause an agent or notify its owner on overspend, failed deploys or idle status
Full audit trace of every agent run: who asked, what happened, and what it cost
Release gating that measures new agent versions against the live version before rollout
Tracks external agents and coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex alongside internal ones
Customer-owned data: prompts, traces and evals stay in the customer's cloud and are exportable or deletable
Deployable managed, inside a customer's own VPC, or fully isolated for regulated environments
How to use Astropods?
Connect your agents: Bring your team's existing agents and external tools like Claude Code into Astropods.
Set deploy-time controls: Define what each agent can access, what needs human approval, and its spend limit.
Assign access by role: Apply your existing team and role structure to decide who can build, deploy or use each agent.
Create automatic rules: Set conditions, such as an overspend limit, that pause an agent or notify its owner.
Monitor the fleet: Use the dashboard to see agent activity, spend and conversation patterns in one view.
Review before rollout: Check a new agent release against evaluation results before it replaces the version in production.
