Key findings reveal a significant gap between individual AI adoption and organizational readiness. While 71% of respondents believe AI will eliminate more jobs than it creates, only 20% express concern for their own roles. This disconnect suggests a need for organizations to communicate the implications of AI more effectively.
The report indicates that AI is now considered essential for business success, with 74% of respondents rating it as critically or very important for the next 12 months. Notably, 89% of CEOs and founders emphasize its critical importance. However, the barriers to AI adoption are primarily human rather than technical, with a lack of education and training cited as the top challenges.
More than half of the surveyed professionals have progressed beyond experimentation with AI, with 53% in the Integration or Transformation phases. In contrast, only 25% of organizations have reached the Scaling phase, highlighting a structural gap between individual capabilities and organizational infrastructure.
Despite a generally positive sentiment towards AI, with 52% of respondents expressing favorable views, nearly half remain neutral or uncertain. Furthermore, only 13% of organizations have established the necessary governance foundations to scale AI effectively. Training efforts are increasing, yet many professionals still lack adequate training, particularly in operational AI skills.
The report also reveals a divide in platform preferences based on company size, with ChatGPT dominating small firms and Microsoft Copilot leading in large enterprises. CEOs and founders are notably ahead in personal AI adoption, with 65% in the Integration or Transformation phases compared to lower rates among other roles.
