The app clusters related articles from various sources into single events and rewrites them in neutral language, ensuring that users receive a comprehensive yet unbiased summary of the news. Wisp is available for free on both iOS and Android platforms, making it accessible to a wide audience.
Wisp differentiates itself from other news apps like Particle, 1440, Ground News, Slow News Co., and SmartNews by focusing on personalized, topic-based news consumption rather than editorial curation or algorithmic discovery. This makes Wisp ideal for users who want to stay informed without the anxiety and distraction often associated with news consumption.
By offering a streamlined, user-controlled feed, Wisp empowers individuals to read what matters to them and then move on, reducing time spent on screens and promoting a healthier relationship with news media. Its commitment to neutrality and user choice positions Wisp as a valuable tool for anyone seeking a low-anxiety news reading experience.
