Beyond basic grammar checks, SuggestCat leverages AI to provide advanced suggestions, enabling text transformations and translations for selected content. Users can choose from multiple AI models, with a fallback option if the primary model fails to deliver a suggestion. This ensures a robust and reliable experience for improving written communication.
The plugin operates efficiently by only updating the marks on the specific paragraph being edited, ensuring that changes are localized and do not affect other parts of the document. For users working on incomplete sentences, SuggestCat offers an autocompletion feature that can be finalized by pressing the tab key, streamlining the writing process.
Key features include an admin dashboard for management, comprehensive grammar correction, and AI-powered suggestions. Future enhancements will include AI text tone analysis. SuggestCat is built to be easily integrated into existing text editors, with current support for ProseMirror and TipTap, and more editors planned for future releases. It is developed by Emergence Engineering.
