Description
Socra is a human-AI augmentation platform built for developers and the AI agents they already use. The company's central pitch is stopping teams from repeating the same explanations to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor, and other coding assistants every time a new session starts. Instead, Socra's Workspace holds an organization's knowledge in one place and shares it with any connected agent before that agent starts working.

Cortex is Socra's main product for this problem. It stores company, product, and process knowledge as a connected graph, linking entities like company, product, account, and project so an agent can trace how a decision or rule connects to the code it is about to touch. Teams write down identity rules, security checks, coding standards, and architecture notes once, and Cortex resurfaces the right piece of that knowledge automatically when an agent needs it. It connects through a browser plugin, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), or the Socra CLI to ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot CLI.
Workspace bundles several other tools around Cortex. Journeys is a space for thinking through ideas, planning, and problems that fall outside code, using AI personas built around different working styles, a philosopher, a detective, an engineer, and others, to challenge an idea from multiple angles. Channels gives people and agents a shared conversation thread, and ships as a native app for Apple Silicon Macs. Admin brings people, connected agents, product access, and billing into one account view for the organization. A separate Cloud product lets teams turn source code into an immutable artifact served over a stable HTTPS route.
Socra is aimed at software teams and the individual developers on them, plus builders who want their AI agents to act with the same judgment as a senior engineer instead of guessing. Workspace is priced at $20 per seat per month on a single plan with unlimited modules, a 30-day trial, and prorated billing as people join; connected agents themselves do not use up a human seat. If a license lapses, Socra keeps the accumulated knowledge in place rather than deleting it, so access can resume without rebuilding the graph.
