Description
Shape acts as an AI data analyst, designed to democratize data querying by enabling users to ask questions in natural language. Instead of complex SQL, users can simply type their queries, and Shape's engine interprets them like a human analyst would. This approach significantly reduces the burden of ad-hoc data requests, allowing teams to get answers quickly and efficiently.

Shape's capabilities extend beyond basic queries. It can handle nuanced questions, providing more than just raw numbers. The platform supports advanced SQL, including complex joins and unions, ensuring that even intricate data relationships can be explored. A key aspect of Shape's functionality is its smart interpretation, where it clearly states its assumptions and any caveats associated with the data or the query. This transparency builds trust and ensures users understand the context of the answers they receive.
Integration is a core part of Shape's offering. It works seamlessly with your existing datastack and offers a Slackbot that provides fast answers directly within the communication platform. For developers, Shape provides an API and React components, allowing them to embed AI-powered analytics directly into their own products. This enables businesses to build AI-driven analytics faster and embed AI-powered dashboards in minutes.
Accuracy is paramount, and Shape achieves best-in-class accuracy by combining GPT-4 custom agents, dataset pre-analysis, and human reviews. Security is also a strong focus, with all credentials stored using industry-standard encryption and SOC 2 Type 1 Certification. Shape learns over time, improving its responses with every question asked, making it an increasingly valuable asset for data analysis.
The target audience for Shape includes data analysts, business users, and product teams who need to access and understand data without deep technical expertise. It's ideal for companies looking to reduce their reliance on dedicated data teams for every query, speed up decision-making, and embed data insights directly into their applications.
