The platform utilizes 64 research-backed active learning methodologies, such as debates, simulations, and mock trials, to create dynamic classroom missions. These missions are designed to be offline-first, ensuring that they can be facilitated without the need for internet access. Teachers are provided with print-ready guides and student materials, making it easy to implement the lessons in any classroom setting.
Flip Education offers a variety of pricing plans to accommodate different needs. Individual teachers can start with a free plan that includes five lifetime missions. Paid plans are available for unlimited missions, with options for single subjects, multiple subjects, or all subjects and grades. The platform is compliant with major education privacy frameworks, ensuring zero student data collection.
The AI-generated missions are structured into four phases: a spark to engage students, a briefing to frame the work, active learning activities, and a debrief to consolidate learning. This approach not only enhances student engagement but also improves learning outcomes, as evidenced by research showing lower failure rates and higher academic achievement in active learning environments.
Flip Education was created by Raian Pollock and Adriana Perusin, combining expertise in technology and education to bridge the gap between research and classroom practice. The platform is available in 11 languages and supports differentiated instruction, making it a versatile tool for educators worldwide.
