Description
EverestLabs Navigator is an agentic AI platform built for operators of recycling and material-recovery plants. It pairs continuous vision AI monitoring of the sorting line with a chat interface, so a plant manager can ask a question in plain English and get an answer grounded in that plant's own data, with an action already attached.

Navigator's Vision AI reads an RGB-depth video stream of the conveyor belt, identifying hundreds of objects per frame in under 15 milliseconds. EverestLabs says it is trained on billions of real-world objects, tracks 65+ material classes at 95%+ detection accuracy, and can pick up new object categories within a few days of training. That stream feeds four specialized agents that answer in one shared chat: a Data Agent for plant-systems questions, a Vision Agent that watches for composition shifts and contamination, an Automation Agent that can apply equipment presets to sorters and belts, and a Fleet Agent that monitors robot and sorting-equipment health. Navigator itself never acts on its own; the Automation Agent only applies a change once the operator approves it.
The interface is organized into four panels: a Dashboard for line-level metrics, Artifacts for managing equipment and processes, Alerts for threshold-based notifications, and the Ask Navigator chat itself. EverestLabs frames the product around four recurring use cases: continuous material audits for EPR reporting instead of manual spot samples, pinpointing where recoverable material is being lost to landfill and recommending equipment fixes, flagging equipment anomalies before they cause downtime, and balancing load across lines to raise belt utilization above the 60-70% many facilities run at today.
Navigator is aimed at material and plastics recovery facilities, plastics reclaimers, metal recyclers, electronics recyclers, construction and demolition recyclers, waste and recycling fleets, and brands doing packaging intelligence. It is a separate product from EverestLabs Robotics, the company's physical high-speed sorting hardware; Navigator is the monitoring and decision layer. EverestLabs does not publish public pricing; it offers a site survey that maps a facility's lines and stream and returns a projected recovery figure and payback date before a customer commits.

How to use EverestLabs Navigator?
Request a site survey: EverestLabs maps your lines and stream to estimate recovery upside and payback.
Connect Navigator: Vision AI cameras start reading the conveyor belts in real time.
Ask a question: use the chat interface to ask about losses, composition, or equipment health.
Review recommendations: Navigator surfaces root causes and proposed fixes with supporting data.
Approve an action: automation presets apply to sorting equipment only after you approve them.
Track results: monitor audits, alerts, and throughput on the dashboard over time.
