Airtap is a personal AI agent designed to automate tasks on your mobile apps, either on your physical device or a cloud-based Android phone. Unlike other AI agents that operate within a browser or cloud sandbox, Airtap functions on a real phone with your actual accounts, providing a more integrated and seamless experience.
To get started with Airtap, users can initiate a conversation via text message or iMessage, instructing the AI on what tasks to perform. The agent can handle a wide range of activities, from digital couponing and playlist conversions to monitoring stocks and ordering services like Uber. For more advanced features, users can access the web app at airtap.ai/app.
Airtap's Autopilot feature is an Android app that controls apps installed on your Android device. Users can sideload the APK from the web app and pair their device for enhanced functionality. Additionally, Airtap offers routines, which are jobs saved to run automatically on a schedule, eliminating the need for repetitive manual input.
Privacy is a key focus for Airtap. Users log into their apps directly, ensuring that Airtap never accesses their credentials. The cloud phone runs in a private, isolated container, safeguarding user data. Airtap is currently free to use while in development, with a daily usage cap.
Airtap's architecture consists of three layers: the AI cloud brain, the AutoPilot executor, and the Cloud Phone or physical device.
