The extension goes beyond simple keyword insertion. It intelligently rephrases content from your original CV, infusing it with the necessary terminology and skills identified in the target job posting. This AI-driven approach eliminates the need for manual copying and pasting, saving users considerable time and effort. For those who wish to refine the output further, Vocatio provides a comprehensive CV Editor within its web app. This editor includes AI-enhanced tools that allow for text shortening, conversion to bullet points, condensation to one or two pages, rephrasing, and the application of custom commands. Additionally, a Reviewer Mode enables side-by-side comparison of the original and generated resumes, facilitating fine-tuning.
Vocatio's inspiration stems from the understanding that customizing a resume for every application is a daunting and time-consuming challenge for many job seekers. Recognizing the significant advantage a personalized resume offers over a generic one, Vocatio aims to reduce this effort from hours to mere minutes. Key features include the ability to generate company-specific resumes and cover letters with a single click, auto CV optimization following best practices, and skill rearrangement based on relevance. The Relevance Optimization feature allows users to detail their employment history extensively, with the AI filtering out essential information for each job. Furthermore, the integrated Job Tracker helps users manage their job hunt by organizing, sorting, filtering, and searching applications through a personalized dashboard. The extension also offers automatic CV translation to the language of the job posting, all available during a free beta period.
