The core functionality of InstantDocs revolves around its ability to capture user interactions directly from the browser. Whether it's a product feature update, a sales team process, or an SOP for new hires, users can record their screen with ease. The extension then leverages AI to analyze the recording's transcript and user clicks, automatically generating a structured guide. This AI assistance extends to creating professional video content with AI voiceovers available in multiple accents, and step-by-step articles complete with relevant snapshots.
Editing is made intuitive with a Notion-like WYSIWYG editor, allowing for seamless adjustments to video backgrounds, background music, and the inclusion or modification of snapshots. Once the guide is perfected, InstantDocs enables one-click publishing and sharing, ensuring that valuable information can be disseminated quickly and efficiently. This tool is particularly beneficial for product managers showcasing new features, marketing teams developing engaging presentations, team leads establishing standard operating procedures, educators creating interactive tutorials, and anyone needing to clearly explain software or website functionalities.
By automating much of the guide creation process, InstantDocs significantly reduces the time and effort required to produce high-quality instructional content. It aims to make complex explanations accessible and easy to follow, thereby improving user understanding and adoption of products or processes. The extension supports over 60 languages, broadening its applicability for global audiences and diverse teams. For businesses and individuals looking to enhance their documentation and training materials, InstantDocs offers a powerful, time-saving solution.
