With Gmail Bot, you can interact with your emails in entirely new ways. Ask specific questions about the content of your recent emails, such as "What are my updates?" or request a concise summary of a long conversation. The extension can also provide a summary of your entire inbox, helping you quickly grasp the most important information. This functionality is invaluable for busy professionals who need to stay on top of their communications without spending excessive time sifting through messages.
Beyond analysis, Gmail Bot also assists in content creation. When composing a new email or replying to an existing thread, a "Generate" button appears next to the Send button. Clicking this allows the AI to draft a suitable message for you, which you can then modify as needed. This feature streamlines the writing process, ensuring professional and relevant communication. By automating the crunching of inbox data and the drafting of messages, Gmail Bot aims to significantly save users time and boost productivity.
The developer, Codimite PTE LTD, emphasizes data privacy, stating that personally identifiable information and website content are handled, but data is not sold to third parties outside approved use cases and is not used for unrelated purposes or creditworthiness determination. The extension was last updated on May 15, 2023, with version 0.1.10, and is available in English.
