Description
IG Auto Follow is a Chrome extension that aims to help users grow their Instagram follower base through automated follow and unfollow actions. This tool functions as a growth hack, enabling users to expand their reach and build their brand organically by automating engagement with other Instagram accounts.

The extension operates by allowing users to automatically follow accounts based on various criteria. This includes following the followers or the following list of a specific Instagram user. Additionally, it can follow users who have commented on or liked a particular post. Users have the option to exclude private accounts from the automated following process.
Beyond automated following, IG Auto Follow also manages unfollowing. It offers several unfollowing strategies: unfollowing users who do not follow back (and were previously followed by the tool), unfollowing all users followed by the extension (even if they followed back), and unfollowing users who do not follow you back. A key feature is its ability to remember users it has followed, preventing them from being refollowed after being unfollowed, thereby maintaining a more natural interaction flow.
To mitigate Instagram's limitations and ensure continuous functionality, the extension incorporates strategies to prevent being flagged. These include implementing cooldown periods between follow/unfollow actions, with customizable durations and user-defined intervals. Intelligent error handling is also built-in, pausing the process for a set duration if a request error occurs before retrying. The tool automatically follows or unfollows a limited number of users per day to adhere to Instagram's policies.
Users can initiate following by entering an Instagram username or opening the extension on a profile, then selecting the list to follow (followers or following) and clicking 'Start Following'. For post interactions, users paste the post link or launch the extension on the post, select the list (comments or likes), and click 'Start Following'. Unfollowing is initiated by switching to the third tab, choosing the unfollow type, and clicking 'Start Unfollowing'.
IG Auto Follow emphasizes data privacy, stating that all processed data remains on the user's local computer and is never sent to their servers. It is important to note that IG Auto Follow is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or related to Instagram, Inc. or its subsidiaries. The tool is designed for organic growth and encourages responsible usage to ensure its continued effectiveness.
