Description
Accenture Life Trends 2026 is an annual research report from Accenture Song examining how people's everyday lives, work, and culture are changing, and how AI fits into that change. It is aimed at business leaders, marketers, and brand strategists who need to understand shifting customer and employee behavior, rather than at AI practitioners specifically.

The report is organized around five named trends. "Stability premium" argues that in a period of constant news and narrative change, brands that offer predictability and steady, trustworthy communication are being rewarded. "Human journeys" and "Finding Neo" both look directly at AI's effect on daily life and work: the first covers how AI-driven answers and chat interfaces are collapsing everyday search and even emotional-support interactions, and the second argues that as generative AI reshapes organizations, leaders need to keep the focus on employee experience, trust, and upskilling rather than push a technology-first transformation. "Good vibrations" and "Coming of age" look further from AI, at a cultural turn toward play and well-being, and at longevity and aging.
Each trend is backed by original survey figures. The report states that 65% of executives have set up a permanent cross-functional rapid-response unit for economic and regulatory shifts, 64% of people think AI can improve how they think if used the right way, 47% of 18-to-24-year-olds find it easier to express feelings to a chatbot than to a person, and 60% of employees say their leaders provide only moderate guidance, at best, on working with AI. Each trend also closes with a short "what to do" set of recommendations for business leaders.
The report is free to read online, with a downloadable version offered directly from the page; Accenture does not charge for access.
It is written for corporate and marketing decision-makers rather than as a technical or academic AI paper, and its figures come from Accenture's own commissioned research rather than an independently audited survey.
