The core philosophy behind Botticelli is to simplify bot development while ensuring robustness and flexibility. Developers can leverage its cross-platform nature, meaning bots built with Botticelli can run on various operating systems. The framework is designed to be reliable, easy to use, and straightforward to deploy, with built-in Docker support simplifying the containerization process.
Integration is a key strength of Botticelli. It offers straightforward connections to databases, allowing bots to access and manage data efficiently. For AI capabilities, Botticelli.AI provides a dedicated integration path. Similarly, Botticelli.Talks simplifies the incorporation of speech synthesis, enabling voice-enabled bots. For managing high-volume message processing, Botticelli.Bus integrates with queue brokers, ensuring scalability. Furthermore, Botticelli.Scheduler allows for the scheduling of bot tasks, adding another layer of automation and control.
The framework supports a wide range of popular messaging platforms, including Telegram and WhatsApp, making it versatile for customer service, information dissemination, and interactive applications. Examples of its application include an Air Quality Bot and a Telegram bot, demonstrating its practical utility. Botticelli aims to be the go-to solution for developers looking to build sophisticated, integrated bots with a .NET Core foundation.
