GITEX Global is an annual technology exhibition held in Dubai, running for more than four decades under the GITEX name. The company that organizes it describes it as the world's largest tech and AI event. The 2026 edition takes place 7-11 December at Expo City Dubai, a new venue for the show after the 2025 edition split across the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour.

The event is split into two parts. The GITEX Summit runs for one day, 7 December, and is built around high-level discussions on themes such as AI sovereignty and scalability. The GITEX Global Expo runs for the following four days, 8-11 December, and is organized as a trade show floor covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mobility, data centers, sustainability and related technology sectors.
The organizers describe the 2025 edition as its 45th, spread across more than 40 exhibition halls between the two 2025 venues. Past editions have hosted government ministers and executives from companies including OpenAI, Cerebras Systems, AWS, IBM, AMD, Siemens and Huawei, alongside national AI ministers and delegations from multiple countries.
GITEX has expanded into a family of regional and thematic events beyond the Dubai flagship, including editions such as GITEX Africa, GITEX Europe, GITEX Asia, GITEX Nigeria and AI Everything, run under the same brand in different markets.
The organizers also market the December dates partly as a break from the conference itself, pairing the show with Dubai's cooler winter weather and its hospitality, culture and entertainment scene. GITEX Global is aimed at technology executives, investors, government delegations, startups and enterprises evaluating AI adoption, rather than at consumers; exhibitors and speakers register through the event's own exhibit, speaker and delegate programs.
