Description
Women in AI (WAI) is a nonprofit, community-driven initiative dedicated to empowering, supporting, and elevating women in the field of artificial intelligence. As a global organization, WAI provides a platform for women from diverse backgrounds to find opportunities, share insights, and lead communities. The initiative focuses on bringing awareness and knowledge through education, events, and blogging. WAI believes in the power of community, based on mutual support, caring, and sharing, to inspire and educate the next generations. By joining WAI, individuals can actively change the role of women and minorities in AI. The organization is a proud member of projects like AI4EU, AEQUITAS, and DIVERSIFAIR, which are supported by the European Union. These partnerships help WAI in its mission to create a more diverse work culture in AI. WAI offers educational programs for girls and women, connects AI researchers, and provides networking opportunities through local teams and community events. The initiative also maintains a blog to share insights and developments in the AI field.
