The platform operates in three straightforward steps. First, users can add videos and audio by uploading multiple files, pasting YouTube links or playlists, or dropping audio files into a single workspace. This flexibility makes it easy to gather all relevant materials in one place. Next, as users watch the content, Vunote generates smart notes that are timestamped, allowing users to capture ideas without the need for constant pausing. This feature ensures that every insight is tied to the exact moment in the video, making it easy to revisit specific points later.
Once the notes are created, Vunote offers various tools to enhance learning. Users can search through their notes and transcripts, build mind maps, generate recall cards, or create structured reports from the same notes. This multi-faceted approach to learning ensures that users can connect insights across different lectures, making it easier to see how concepts build upon one another or conflict.
Vunote also features a Chrome extension that allows users to capture timestamped notes directly on YouTube videos. This extension provides a side panel with chapter thumbnails and one-click sync to the Vunote project, ensuring that users can take notes without leaving the video. The integration of AI chat allows users to ask questions about what they watched, grounded in their notes and transcripts, further enhancing the learning experience.
With a free plan that includes access to core features, users can start using Vunote without any upfront costs. As their needs grow, they can upgrade to more powerful plans that offer additional projects, unlimited videos, and advanced AI features. Vunote is tailored for anyone looking to improve their study habits and make the most out of their video learning experiences.
