Description
Uptonica is an AI operations platform built for Shopify brands, aiming to replace the separate tools a store runs, such as a PIM, an AI copywriter, a repricer, an ad-attribution tool, and a chat widget, with one connected platform. It was built by the team behind Webgas, which has grown Italian Shopify brands since 2019, and its AI assistant, Lia, works across every module using the same catalog and customer data.

The platform is organized into six modules that share data and single sign-on. Product (Catalog) enriches every listing across copy, attributes, translations, and SEO, built for catalogs in the thousands. Content (Content & Social) plans a week of on-brand text, image, and video content and publishes it without switching tools. Price (Pricing & Promos) reprices against competitors within guardrails the merchant sets. Ads (Ads & Attribution) runs Google, Meta, and WhatsApp advertising from one dashboard with attribution meant to agree across channels. Chat (Customer Conversations) unifies Telegram, WhatsApp, and storefront messages into one inbox, with Lia answering routine questions. CRM (Customers & Pipeline) keeps every customer, order, and conversation in one record, with Lia flagging who needs follow-up and drafting the next message. Automations then trigger workflows, such as abandoned-cart recovery or re-engagement, across whatever happens in the other modules.
A specific focus is writing product content for both search engines and AI answer engines: Lia rewrites titles and descriptions from catalog attributes rather than supplier-style names, fills in fields such as measurements, materials, and compatibility that would otherwise go unquoted by an AI engine, and writes each market's page natively instead of machine-translating one source page. Uptonica cites a multi-brand fashion boutique that saw Google Shopping clicks rise 302.3% over five months after this work.
Uptonica integrates natively with Shopify through the Admin API, without replacing a store's theme or requiring custom code, along with Meta Ads, Google Ads, WhatsApp, Stripe, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics. Onboarding imports a store's catalog and gets the first module live in the first week, with other modules added afterward. For Italian merchants, it handles VAT and fattura elettronica natively through SDI, including reverse charge and intra-EU rules.
Pricing is sized to a store's catalog, channels, and team, sold per module or as a platform bundle, and quoted after a demo rather than published as a fixed price list. A merchant's catalog, content, customer, and analytics data can be exported as CSV or JSON at any time.
