Description
SubcueAI is an AI interview assistant that generates real-time answer suggestions during job interviews. It runs as a native desktop app on macOS and Windows and as a Chrome and Edge browser extension, capturing audio from video calls, transcribing questions with live speech-to-text, and surfacing context-aware talking points in a floating overlay powered by GPT-4o.

Dual audio capture records both system audio and the microphone, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and even phone calls routed through the computer. SubcueAI positions itself for personal preparation: it is not a meeting bot, does not inject anything into meetings or modify the video feed, and renders its overlay locally, while stating that live-interview use is the user's responsibility and must comply with applicable consent laws and workplace policies.
It can generate talking points for technical, behavioral, case, and HR interviews, using an uploaded resume for personalized suggestions, and provides performance analytics and multi-language support. Interview audio is streamed over an encrypted connection for transcription and is not stored on SubcueAI's servers, while transcripts are saved to the account for review and can be deleted. It requires macOS 14 or later or Windows 10 or later, and offers free and paid plans starting at $20.
