The platform is browser-based and offers a free trial, making it accessible to anyone interested in exploring new hairstyles without the commitment of a salon visit. Users can choose to keep their current hair shade, let the AI select a suitable color, or manually select an exact salon color from the extensive library. The tool is particularly useful for those preparing for significant events, such as weddings, interviews, or profile photo updates, as it provides a calm and informed way to decide on a new look.
My Look Story's AI Hair Design feature evaluates the visible face shape, hairline, current hair, skin tone, and portrait context to plan several hairstyle directions. Users can also switch to manual mode to browse the visual hairstyle library and choose a cut or color, with the option to fine-tune the direction before generating the final look. The tool ensures that the uploaded photo remains the identity reference, limiting edits to the hair while maintaining facial geometry, skin tone, and other identity cues.
Pricing for My Look Story includes flexible plans and credit packs for AI hairstyle generation. The Weekly Pro plan offers 30 credits for HD hairstyle generation and priority queue access, while the Monthly Pro plan provides 100 credits, access to a premium hairstyle library, and personalized style reports. Both plans include features such as watermark-free export and saved history, ensuring users can revisit and refine their hairstyle choices over time.
