The app provides four distinct ways to start a tour: planning a custom route, wandering without a plan, heading to a specific destination, or following a shared tour created by others. Users can interact with Mira to add, drop, or reorder stops, ensuring the tour aligns with their interests. The app narrates each stop as users arrive, providing a seamless and informative experience.
Mira supports narration in 23 languages, making it accessible to a global audience. The first 30 minutes of usage are free, with additional listening time available for purchase without a subscription. This pay-as-you-go model ensures users only pay for the narration and research they use.
The app can also be experienced in a browser using street view, allowing users to explore cities like San Francisco and Paris from their desks. This feature requires no installation, making it easy to try Mira before committing to a full tour.
Mira is published by Wanderframe, LLC, and offers robust support for users, including assistance with account management, purchases, and technical issues. The app is designed with privacy in mind, collecting minimal personal information and offering clear options for account deletion.
