Description
Mentioned works on a specific problem: AI search engines and chat assistants answer category questions by summarizing a handful of existing web pages, mainly listicles, comparison articles and forum threads. If a product is missing from those pages, or a page states something about it that is now wrong, the AI answer repeats that gap or error. Mentioned finds those pages and gets them corrected, rather than only reporting that the product is being underrepresented.

The process runs in stages. It starts by building a product profile from up to ten of the company's own pages, not just the homepage, with every field editable before anything runs. It then finds candidate listicles and comparison pages by matching templates against that profile and by looking at pages that already list several competitors, on the reasoning that a page open to competitors is also open to a new entry. Each candidate page is read in full and its claims are checked against the current state of the product, rather than taken at face value, and scored for how strong the case for inclusion or correction is.
For pages worth pursuing, Mentioned resolves a contact through a series of lookup methods, cheapest first, stopping at the first address that passes its checks. It then drafts the strongest supported angle, with the evidence attached so the claims can be checked before anything is sent. The email is sent from the user's own mailbox under their own name; Mentioned does not send on a user's behalf or ask for inbox access. Afterward it re-reads both the pitched pages and comparable pages weekly, so it can show whether coverage actually changed.
The product draws a line between this and typical AI-visibility monitoring tools, which report a share-of-voice or sentiment score each month without changing anything about the underlying pages, so the report tends to repeat itself. Mentioned instead aims to change what the pages, and by extension the AI answers built from them, actually say. Affiliate listicles that expect a paid placement are identified and routed differently: they are not pitched, since no contact credit or send is spent on pages that want a rate card.
Mentioned is aimed at marketing and growth teams at products that are absent from, or misrepresented in, the pages that AI search tools draw on for their category. The first audit is free, reading the best 10 of up to 60 candidate pages, limited to one audit per domain every 30 days.
