Description
LongTerMemory is an AI-powered study and exam-preparation tool that helps learners master any subject through automated question-answer generation and spaced repetition. Users upload documents, slides, spreadsheets, books, personal notes, or photos of textbook pages, infographics, and diagrams, or paste web links and text. The AI reads them, including images via OCR, and generates personalized study plans built from contextual question-answer pairs.

The tool schedules reviews using spaced repetition tuned to the forgetting curve, so learners review material right before they would forget it, which the site says supports far higher retention than cramming. A built-in AI chat lets users ask questions about their own notes and documents, drawing exclusively from their uploaded material like a personal tutor. Additional features include progress tracking and management of multiple study projects.
LongTerMemory processes materials using retrieval-augmented generation with OpenAI, and emphasizes privacy with encrypted storage, passwordless sign-in via Google or a magic link, and data isolation aimed at learners studying sensitive or copyrighted content. Content is only shared with OpenAI for question generation.
Pricing is one-time rather than subscription: a free 7-day tier with limited projects and documents, plus paid 4-month and 12-month access packs (Basic and Pro) that increase project counts, document sizes, web page limits, and chat usage, with no auto-renewal or recurring charges.
