Description
Lingly is an AI-powered platform designed to bridge the language barrier for jobseekers in the UK, specifically targeting employability providers. Lingly's approach contrasts with the "old way" of ESOL, which often involves months of waiting, a lack of visible progress, and generic English instruction that leaves jobseekers in limbo. The "new way" with Lingly ensures an immediate start, provides a progress dashboard for employment advisors to monitor development, offers training specifically for UK workplaces, and rapidly builds employable English skills. This focus on practical, job-relevant language aims to reduce the risk of language barriers costing potential placements.
The platform's value proposition is clear: a strong return on investment for employability providers. With a licence costing £99, the potential for a £5,100 job placement payment highlights the economic benefit of equipping jobseekers with the necessary language skills. Success stories from various UK locations, including Bradford and Rochdale, demonstrate Lingly's effectiveness in helping individuals gain employment, with participants like Agatha advancing to senior carer roles and others like Tooh improving their workplace English within days.
Lingly's personalized training is driven by AI that adapts to each learner's level and pace. Key features include a curriculum tailored to finding local jobs, availability anytime and anywhere, unlimited practice with instant feedback, exposure to over 30 authentic UK regional accents, detailed explanations in the user's native language, personalized lessons based on mistakes, and robust progress tracking. This comprehensive approach aims to build real-world confidence and measurable progress for users, as evidenced by testimonials from training coordinators and care home management teams.
