The setup process for Interview Sidekick is straightforward. Users begin with a one-time profile setup, where they paste their resume and the job description. This information powers the AI's responses, tailoring them to the specific interview context. Once set up, users can choose from various tools, including the Live Interview Assistant for real-time support, Mock Interview Practice for rehearsing with an AI interviewer, Interview Prep for auto-generating likely questions, and a Question Bank containing over 10,000 real interview questions from more than 150 companies.
During live interviews, Interview Sidekick acts as a copilot, listening to questions and providing personalized answers on the user's screen within seconds. This feature is particularly useful for coding interviews, where the AI can assist with algorithm problems, data structures, and debugging challenges. The AI's ability to deliver suggestions quickly—within a two-second transcription latency—ensures that users can maintain the flow of conversation without appearing distracted.
Interview Sidekick also includes a Stealth Mode, which makes the application invisible to screen sharing and recording software, allowing users to utilize its features without fear of detection. This is especially important in remote interviews conducted via platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. The application supports 31 languages, making it accessible to a diverse range of users.
In addition to real-time assistance, Interview Sidekick offers comprehensive preparation tools, including AI-graded feedback on mock interviews and a question bank that adapts to the user's specific job role and seniority level. This dual approach—preparation before the interview and support during it—ensures that users are well-equipped to handle various interview scenarios with confidence.
