Goblin Tools employs AI technologies in its backend, utilizing models from various providers, both open and closed source, to achieve its goals. The platform is committed to using ethical models wherever possible.
The tools are offered free of charge and are available to all users without ads or paywalls. While the website remains completely free, mobile apps are available at a low price on Android and iOS to help cover maintenance costs. Some advanced features are available through Goblin Tools Pro, a low monthly subscription, due to the high cost of running them. However, existing features will never be locked behind a paywall.
Goblin Tools is developed and maintained by Bram De Buyser, an AI, software, and data engineer. Bram is also the founder of Arcology, a company focused on AI and data R&D, bespoke engineering, and consultancy. Arcology is currently developing smart tools for educators under the Teacher Tools initiative.
