Description
Gitmore is a git reporting tool for engineering teams that turns commits, pull requests, and repository activity into automated, AI-generated team updates. It connects to GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, including cloud and self-hosted or enterprise versions, and delivers plain-English summaries to Slack or email on a daily, weekly, or custom schedule, so teams get visibility without manual status writing.

Each report includes an AI-written narrative overview, key metrics like peak activity and contributor counts, a 24-hour activity chart, a work distribution breakdown across features, fixes, refactoring, DevOps, and docs, and categorized lists of what was built and what problems were solved. Gitmore's AI analyzes webhook event metadata such as commit messages, PR descriptions, file names, and author information to categorize work, and it explicitly never accesses source code. An AI chat agent called Gitmind lets users ask questions about repositories, PRs, and team activity in natural language.
Gitmore is positioned as an async replacement for the status-update portion of standups, generating reports automatically from actual Git activity rather than requiring developers to fill out forms. Setup takes under two minutes via OAuth or manual webhook. It offers a free-forever plan with unlimited repositories and automations plus a small monthly AI credit allowance, with Pro and Enterprise tiers adding more AI credits, Slack integration, advanced analytics, and custom reporting.
