Description
FaceFusion is a face manipulation platform that processes photos and videos entirely on the user's own machine, keeping personal data local rather than sending it to the cloud. Its source code is open and free to clone, with installers for Windows and macOS that automate the setup of Git, Conda, and FFmpeg and add start-menu and desktop shortcuts.

The platform is built around a set of processors that can be combined for different results. These include a Face Swapper, a Deep Swapper using pre-trained models, a Face Enhancer and Frame Enhancer for super-resolution and up to 8x upscaling, a Face Editor for head rotation, gaze, and expression, a Lip Syncer, an Expression Restorer, an Age Modifier, a Background Remover, a Frame Colorizer, and a Face Debugger for inspecting landmarks and masks. FaceFusion Labs also develops HyperSwap models tuned for accuracy, difficult angles, and makeup.
FaceFusion positions itself for film studios, VFX artists, and content creators who need professional-grade, frame-based control, and offers a commercial HyperSwap plugin plus integrations with tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, and OBS Studio. It emphasizes local-first processing, absolute privacy with no data collection, one-time predictable cost, and an open, extensible platform, with cloud scaling available through its partner Segmind.
