At its core, CHCKR employs a funnel approach, first evaluating the content of the essay and then assessing the quality of its execution. It is trained to identify common writing pitfalls such as topic jumping, inconsistent narratives, missed opportunities for descriptive writing, inefficient sentence structures, and suboptimal word choices. This comprehensive analysis ensures that users receive feedback that addresses both substantive and stylistic elements.
The tool provides instant feedback accompanied by a detailed rationale for each recommendation and illustrative examples of both good and bad writing. This approach not only highlights areas for improvement but also educates users on the underlying principles of effective writing, empowering them to become better writers. CHCKR's dynamic feedback system adapts to the user's current writing maturity, prioritizing the most critical areas for improvement at each stage of the writing process.
CHCKR is powered by over 50 proprietary Machine Learning and natural language processing algorithms. These advanced models, trained on a vast dataset of essays, enable CHCKR to offer highly individualized suggestions. The platform also features live editing and real-time refresh functionality, allowing users to make immediate changes and observe how their score and percentile rank evolve, providing immediate validation of their improvements.
Feedback is synthesized into a succinct summary report, highlighting key strengths and weaknesses of the essay. This helps users understand what aspects are performing well and where to focus their revision efforts. CHCKR is available through a one-time payment of $9.99 for individual users, with custom pricing for institutions interested in group memberships. The platform is committed to supporting users 24/7 via email at [email protected].
