Description
Ask Yi is an online tool designed to provide users with I Ching readings through a browser-based platform. Utilizing the traditional three-coin method, Ask Yi simulates six rounds of coin casting to generate a primary hexagram, changing lines, and a resulting hexagram. The tool offers AI-assisted explanations that relate the symbolism of the hexagrams to the user's specific question, providing guidance in plain English.

The platform is accessible without requiring any sign-up, allowing users to perform a guest reading. After signing in with Google, users can access three free readings each week. Additionally, Ask Yi offers optional one-time reading packs for those who wish to explore further without a subscription model.
Ask Yi's interpretations are grounded in a comprehensive map of 4,096 possible outcomes, ensuring that the same question yields consistent advice. The platform also includes free guides and a reference covering all 64 hexagrams, making it a valuable resource for both beginners and experienced users of the I Ching.
The tool is particularly useful for those seeking reflection and insight into personal questions, such as relationships or career decisions. However, it is important to note that the readings are intended for reflection and do not guarantee future events. The AI-assisted explanations are designed to prompt reflection and provide a perspective based on the I Ching's ancient wisdom.
