A call is a live voice session: the character picks up and waits in silence rather than opening with a canned greeting, and tapping the screen interrupts them mid-answer. Characters answer in whatever language the caller speaks and switch languages if the caller does. When a call ends, the conversation is written back into the text chat with that character, so a later typed message already has the context of what was said out loud. Voice is provided through a partnership with ElevenLabs, with a voice chosen to fit each character rather than assigned from a short default list.
Chat is free and unlimited once signed in, though browsing the character pages doesn't require an account. A free account also includes 20 minutes of voice calls every rolling 30 days, counted from a user's first call, with no card required. A Pro plan is $20 a month and includes 240 minutes of calls per rolling 30 days.
Beyond one-off conversations, AI Anyone runs guided activities across education, career, language practice, debate and creative work, letting a user type what they want to learn and get a short course built around it, complete with lessons, quick checks and follow-ups.
