Getting started with FastApply is designed to be quick and straightforward. Users can log in using their Google account and then upload their existing resume and cover letter. The AI then takes over, analyzing job preferences provided by the user. Based on these preferences and the specific job descriptions, FastApply customizes ATS-friendly resumes and cover letters for each application, significantly increasing the chances of passing initial screening.
The core functionality of FastApply includes a seamless auto-apply feature. Once configured, users can initiate the process, and the extension will automatically search various job boards and company career pages for matching roles. It then submits applications on behalf of the user. This automation frees up valuable time, allowing job seekers to focus on networking, interview preparation, and other critical aspects of their job search.
Beyond application submission, FastApply provides real-time tracking of all submitted job applications. Users can monitor the status of each submission from a centralized dashboard, ensuring they stay organized and informed throughout their job hunt. This feature helps manage the application pipeline effectively and reduces the risk of missing follow-ups.
FastApply emphasizes its smart AI tailoring capabilities, differentiating itself from simpler auto-fill tools. By creating bespoke application documents for each role, it aims to overcome Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and present candidates in the best possible light. The user interface is described as sleek and user-friendly, intended to make the job search experience less draining and more engaging. The tool offers flexible pricing, including a perpetual Freebird plan that provides access to all core features without cost, allowing users to experience the benefits before considering upgrades.
