Description
CoverHook is an AI-driven YouTube thumbnail generator designed to create engaging and click-worthy thumbnails in a matter of minutes. Users can write the exact title they want on their thumbnail, optionally add a reference image, and select the desired resolution. The tool outputs images at 2048×1152 for 2K Standard or 1280×720 for 1K, both in the 16:9 aspect ratio recommended by YouTube. The AI automatically sets the title into the thumbnail design, ensuring correct spelling and appropriate font treatment.

CoverHook operates on a credit system, where one credit equals USD 0.01. A thumbnail at the default 2K Standard setting costs 25 credits, equivalent to USD 0.25. New users receive 25 credits upon signup, allowing them to generate one thumbnail for free. The tool does not require a reference image, but users can upload one if they want the thumbnail to reflect actual footage or products.
The platform does not connect to YouTube channels, meaning users can generate thumbnails for channels they do not own or for clients. CoverHook scores generated thumbnails based on composition conventions but does not predict performance or conduct A/B testing. The tool is ideal for users who need a straightforward thumbnail generator without additional features like keyword research or video idea suggestions.
CoverHook offers different quality tiers, with Standard quality taking about 40 seconds to generate and Pro quality taking 60-90 seconds, offering higher fidelity at a higher credit cost. Users can choose between credit packs or subscriptions, with subscriptions offering a better per-credit rate for regular use. The tool is suitable for various real-world applications, including gaming, finance, food, tech reviews, and tutorials.
